Kristen Pudenz is a senior quantum applications engineer for Lockheed Martin. She received her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California in 2014. While completing her doctorate, she was affiliated with the USC-Lockheed Martin quantum computing center as well as the quantum applications group at USC’s Information Sciences Institute. Pudenz received her M.S. in electrical engineering from USC in 2011, after graduating summa cum laude with her B.S. in computer engineering from Iowa State University in 2008. Her current research interests include error correcting codes and algorithms for adiabatic quantum computation, with a strong emphasis on practical applications.
